Project Coordinator for CREATE Teacher Residency Program Middle and Secondary Education- Biography
Sumayah Clark is a project coordinator for the CREATE Teacher Residency Program in the Middle and Secondary Education Department of the College of Education & Human Development. Clark has joined a team of dedicated educators with the goal of reshaping teacher effectiveness and eliminating disparities in the classroom.
Prior to joining the college, Clark was an administrative specialist/limited term serving in the College of Arts and Sciences, Dean’s Office. In her role, she provided administrative support to the Associate Dean of Research, Innovation and Graduate Studies, as well as the Director of International Programs for the College of Arts and Sciences.
Currently, Clark is pursuing her master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in nonprofit management at Georgia State. She is passionate about traveling, learning new languages and volunteering. She has several stamps in her passport and looks forward to new opportunities for exploration, learning and meeting new people. Clark also looks forward to growing with Georgia State in its efforts to distinguish itself in globalizing the university and the education it provides to its diverse student population.
