Dr. Regina Speights is the associate director for Sponsored Funded Programs, totaling over 14 million dollars, for projects such as Collaborative and Resources for Encouraging and Supporting Transformations in Education (CREST-Ed), Network for Enhancing Teacher Quality (NET-Q) and NET-Q Evaluation Cooperative Agreement.
As a design team member, Speights serves to ensure compliance in fiscal responsibilities with internal and external partnerships: Georgia State University departments, local school systems, colleges and universities.
Current accolades includes recipient of the “Net-Q Service Award.” Pre-GSU experienced as lead professor and acting director in the School of Business — academic affairs. She’s also the author of the book, “November 4, 2008 — The Mood of a Nation.”
Speights supports various organizations such as “The Study Hall After-School Program” in Atlanta. And her research interests includes lived experiences of suburban African-American men on teacher leadership and influences in Pre-Post Secondary Education.
