- Biography
Regina Finan graduated from Georgia State University with an undergraduate degree in Broadcast/Journalism and went on to receive her first master’s degree in student personnel in higher education at the University of Florida. After a career in higher education administration, she earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree from Georgia State. Her career working with college students in higher education, experience with mental health counseling and plans to teach in a counselor education program someday are a great fit in her role as the administrative academic specialist in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services. She is committed to working with students, faculty and staff to ensure successful and collaborative interactions and outcomes.
In her non-academic life, Regina enjoys the barely managed chaos as a wife and mother of three kiddos and a furbaby. She is a theoretical gardener (imagining exquisite landscapes) and occasional ‘Top Chef.’
