Research Scientist Early Childhood and Elementary Education- Biography
Meghan P. Dean, Ph.D. is a Research Scientist at the Urban Child Study Center (UCSC) in the College of Education & Human Development at Georgia State University. Dean’s scholarship examines early childhood education and children’s linguistic and literacy development of diverse populations. Before working at the UCSC, Dean was a senior research and policy analyst for Bright from the Start, Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning. Dean has extensive research experience in early childhood education and a strong understanding and background in licensing and child care.
