Meghan Dean
Research Scientist Early Childhood and Elementary Education- Biography
Meghan Dean is a research scientist for the Urban Child Study Center at the College of Education & Human Development.
She has extensive research experience in early childhood education as well as a strong understanding and background in licensing and child care.
Dean’s scholarship examines early childhood education and children’s linguistic and literacy development of diverse populations. Prior to working at the UCSC, Dean served as a senior research and policy analyst for Bright from the Start, Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning. Dean has extensive research experience in early childhood education as well as a strong understanding and background in licensing and child care.
