- Biography
Gennie Hendrick began her career with Georgia State University in August of 2007. She started in the Lanette L. Suttles Child Development Center where she worked as an assistant teacher and earned her degree in the Birth Through Five program.
While at the Center she served as the lead toddler II teacher from 2012-2015 and the lead preschool teacher from 2016-2020. She then continued her education and was accepted into the communication sciences and disorders master’s program in 2019. In April of 2020, she transferred jobs in order to complete her degree.
She now works with Project NURTURE as their project/research coordinator. Project NURTURE is a federally funded project for the Teacher Quality Partnership grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement.
