- Biography
Gemarco Peterson is a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and certified as a vocational forensic evaluator. His research focuses on the career development of Black/African American people with and without disabilities, recruitment and rendition of Black/African American counselor educators, and disability advocacy.
Peterson received a five-year sub-award from the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Advancing Employment Equity for Multiply Marginalized People with Disabilities at Langston University and the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) for his research focused on employment equity for multiply marginalized people with disabilities.
Peterson holds membership in several national professional counseling organizations and serves as a Board Member-At-Large for the National Rehabilitation Association.
