- Biography
Elizabeth (Liz) Canon is the new Assistant Project Director for the Pathways Teacher Credentialing Program. Canon has 20 years of experience teaching courses in English and linguistics for teachers and future teachers at seven colleges in four different states. She has written and presented original research on matters of language and dialect discrimination and how to teach difficult courses. She earned her Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Georgia in 2008 and her B.A. in philosophy from the University of Florida earlier than that.
