- Biography
Diamond Parker is the assistant director of development for the College of Education & Human Development. She moved from Vicksburg, Miss., to Atlanta in August 2021.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Mississippi State University in 2020 and her master’s degree in writing and digital communication from Agnes Scott College in 2023. Through her undergraduate studies, she was able to gain experience with annual gifting and stewardship through employment in Mississippi State University’s Bulldog Calling Center.
As assistant director of development, Parker assists the college’s director of development through engagement with internal and external communities in an effort to gain long-lasting relationships and perpetual donor support. Her goal is to contribute to the college’s ongoing success by providing positivity, inclusiveness and strategies to help improve the college’s donor communications.
