- Biography
Brittany White is a former third-grade teacher. She now serves as coordinator for Project NURTURE at Georgia State University.
She is committed to preparing teachers empowered to effectively educate diverse students in urban schools.
White is a Ph.D. student studying early childhood and elementary education at Georgia State University. She plans to focus on culturally relevant pedagogy within mathematics instruction.
She currently serves as the liaison between Douglas County Schools and Georgia State University on behalf of Project NURTURE. She coaches and provides professional development to the teacher residents in the county.
