Ashley Vierra is the coordinator of University District Teacher Leadership for the CREATE Teacher Residency program. She began her teaching career with the School District of Philadelphia before working for Atlanta Public Schools. She has served as a special education teacher and special education lead teacher/liaison.
Vierra holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an M.Ed. from Eastern University in Multicultural Education. She participated in CREATE’s inaugural Education Facilitation Fellowship and has served as an equity coach and equity facilitator in several different arenas.
