- Biography
Alexus Moore is a Research Coordinator II in the Center for Evaluation and Research.
She brings her deep knowledge in urban studies and social inequities to the Center of Evaluation and Research Services. She is a trained sociologist whose research and advocacy approach is grounded in the scholar-practitioner model and centered in critical urban theory framework. Moore approaches her work with an interdisciplinary lens and a commitment to social justice; always seeking to challenge societal assumptions and foster alternate perspectives.
With a Ph.D. in Urban Sociology and Race and Ethnicity from Georgia State University, she has a strong foundation in research methods and a passion for understanding the complexities of urban environments. Through her work, she has contributed to a deeper understanding of the factors that shape urban life and the experiences of marginalized communities.
