Yes. In the fall and spring semesters the faculty requires newly admitted students to attend a new student orientation. The date and time will be sent out by the Sport Business Listserv.
The listserv is the program’s main way of communication with its students. It serves as a mode of communication to let them know about internships, job postings, volunteer work, program news and information, orientation for newly admitted students and general Georgia State information as well.
Many students seek out graduate assistantship positions to help pay for their graduate school tuition, better their careers and to gain more experience. These announcements are sent via the Sport Business Listserv. The program offers a limited number of positions each semester for sport administration students.
