Why Birth-Five?

A degree in Birth-Five provides early childhood educators with advanced knowledge and skills to work in varied settings with young children and their families increasing their earning potential and supporting goals for career advancement. A few of the career opportunities this degree will prepare you for are certified kindergarten and pre-k teacher, early intervention specialist and early childhood program director.

All Project SEED scholars must be eligible for the DECAL Scholars Academic Tuition Assistance Program. Once you have been admitted to Georgia State University, you must apply for DECAL Scholars funding. Contact Brandi Swain if you have any further questions.
