EVIDENCED-BASED TRAININGS
SafeTALK Training of Trainers (T4T)
Dates: July 18 and 19, 2019
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Training Information: This two-day course will equip you to be a SafeTALK Trainer. You will be prepared to present the standardized and manualized SafeTALK training workshop developed by LivingWorks, the worldwide leader in suicide intervention. You will have the opportunity to both experience and facilitate safeTALK training modules. You will be provided with personalized feedback on your training from a member of the LivingWorks leadership team that has traveled to Georgia State University to facilitate the T4T. SafeTALK is a four-hour suicide prevention designed to equip caregivers in the community with awareness of mental health issues, and skills to effectively identify persons who may be at risk of suicide and refer/link them to additional services. We are thrilled to provide this opportunity to members of the metro-Atlanta area.
Tuition Cost: $1,000.00

Food: Breakfast includes coffee, oranges/bananas and breakfast bread. Lunch includes pizza. If these food choices conflict with dietary needs, please bring a snack.
Parking: Please alert Mary Chase Mize ([email protected]) if you will need a parking pass and detailed instructions on parking location for the College of Education & Human Development at Georgia State. We will be happy to secure one for you, and also provide you additional information. Parking is $7.00 additional dollars.
