Practicum-Internship Information
In order to gain practical field experience each master’s student must complete a practicum and internship in consecutive Fall and Spring semesters.
The clinical practicum-internship experience occurs during the second year in the CMHC program curriculum rotation. During the Spring semester of their first year, students will receive instructions for internship application, approved sites, and other pertinent information from the Clinical Coordinator, Dr. Leslie Wofford via email. Aside from receiving email correspondence, students will also be enrolled in an internship orientation iCollege course where they will have access to the clinical program handbook, required forms, approved clinical sites, etc.
*Currently, the CMHC program is not accepting new internship site approvals, however we encourage you to go ahead and complete the application. Once the application has been submitted, your agency’s information will be stored and considered for future internship rotations. https://gsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_50SJi3upxqEGsxU
