Call for Nominations
Nominations for the College of Education & Human Development Partnership Award must include a formal partnership between a member of the CEHD community (i.e. staff, faculty or student organization) and a community-based organization. To be considered for the award, partnerships should be active, ongoing and in place for at least 12 months prior to the nomination. Partnerships should demonstrate an impact for stakeholders that is mutually beneficial. These partnerships may be designated as research partners, community partners or P-12 school partners. Nominations for the 2024 College of Education & Human Development Partnership Award are now closed.
Partnership Types
Research Partner: May include schools, non-traditional learning environments and/or community organizations based on a grant-sponsored project (internal or external) with a primary focus on impacting stakeholder outcomes in alignment with the stated research priority of the grant.
Community Partner: Includes nonprofit or for-profit organizations, government agencies, youth organizations and/or parent organizations with a primary focus on impacting outcomes for stakeholders in the community served by the organization.
School Partner: Includes teachers, principals, administrators, public, private and/or charter K-12 districts with a primary focus on impacting outcomes for learners, teachers and leaders.
Nomination Materials
The College of Education & Human Development requires nominators to provide contact information, project description and individual responses to the following items:
- Identify the type of partnership (research, community or school). Describe the history of the partnership and the nature of the work that occurs within it.
- Describe the way in which the partnership is sustained, collaborative and mutually beneficial. What is the evidence of this?
- Describe the way in which the partnership is impactful on stakeholder outcomes and/or stakeholder climate in target environment. What is the evidence of this impact?
- Describe the way in which the partnership consistently engages in practices that align with the stated purpose of the project and/or organizations. What is the evidence of this alignment?
Selection Criteria
To be considered for the College of Education & Human Development Partnership Award, nominees must demonstrate the following:
- Evidence of a partnership that is sustained, collaborative and mutually beneficial
- Evidence of a partnership that is impactful on stakeholder outcomes and/or stakeholder climate in target environment
- Evidence that the partnership consistently engages in practices that align with the stated purpose of the project and/or organizations

Award recipients will be recognized at the college’s Partnership Award Luncheon, scheduled for Nov. 7, 2024, in Centennial Hall, room 120 (100 Auburn Ave. NE, Atlanta).
