Department of Learning Sciences Assistant Professor Jonte Myers will be awarded the Council for Learning Disabilities’ (CLD) 2023 Must-Read Article Award at the 45th Annual International Conference on Learning Disabilities, scheduled for Oct. 12-13, 2023, in Denver, Colo.
This award recognizes scholars who promote research-to-practice in the field of learning disabilities. The Council for Learning Disabilities (CLD) annually selects an outstanding work published in its flagship journal, Intervention School and Clinic, to receive a Must-Read Article Award. Myers’ article was chosen from three editor-nominated articles for this award.
Myers’ award-winning article is entitled, “Instruction in Proportion Word Problems for Secondary Students with Learning Disabilities in Mathematics.”
The Council for Learning Disabilities (CLD) is an international organization composed of professionals who represent diverse disciplines, is committed to enhancing the education and quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities across the life span.
