The Department of Learning Sciences’ online master’s program in instructional design and technology was ranked No. 13 in the 2022 Best Online Rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News calculates the rankings based on engagement between instructors and students, online services and technologies, peer assessments from academic officials, student excellence and faculty credentials and training.
The online master’s in instructional design and technology helps students become experts in designing and delivering instruction in all formats. Students participate in high-quality, network-building internships in the metro-Atlanta area and learn to create dynamic and effective learning experiences while diving into instructional systems theory and various forms of media and learning environments. Graduates go on to work in corporate settings, higher education, nonprofit and government organizations, and other educational settings.
This program joins the College of Education & Human Development’s curriculum and instruction online master’s program in receiving a top-25 ranking this year, along with the college’s online master’s programs ranking No. 24 for veterans and No. 69 overall in the annual report.
