Sarah Burris, Toni Hazlett, Kelsey Robinson, Genesis Diaz and Diana Piccarreto-Garcia earned their bachelor’s degrees in special education – adapted curriculum from the Department of Learning Sciences this spring and were celebrated at Georgia State University’s 2021 Spring Bachelor’s Commencement Ceremony.
All five graduates have secured jobs teaching in adapted curriculum classrooms in the metro area. They will be working in Gwinnett, Cherokee and DeKalb counties this fall.
Clinical Assistant Professor Lauren Boden served as a faculty advisor for all five students.
