“This study is part of outcomes pertaining to one of my research lines, examining cognitive, affective, behavioral and multidimensional domain research in collaborative online learning environments.”

“The purpose of the study was to use learning analytics to investigate the relationships among learning-related emotions, learner participation level and students’ cognitive effort longitudinally. Results revealed that positive or negative expressed emotions led to higher participation in ongoing discussions and that participation level predicted the rate of change in textual revision.”
