Jordan Mike graduates from the M.S. clinical mental health counseling program this spring, 2020. He attended Mercer University in 2014 and earned a B.S. degree in psychology with a minor in creative writing in 2018. His research interests revolve around trauma work specifically within minority and Caribbean communities. His goal is to become a counselor educator and researcher and to examine disparities within the Caribbean community as well as multicultural competencies within counselors. After graduating from Georgia State, he will pursue his Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from the University of Florida. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading, writing and being outdoors.
