Students in the College of Education & Human Development’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders received several accolades at the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association annual convention Feb. 13-15.
Jodi Sampson, Sadler Croft, Jessica Miller, Erica Freestone and Sze Wan Feigleson won first place at the convention’s Knowledge Bowl and will each receive a voucher to cover the cost of their Praxis exam.
CEHD students also had the opportunity to meet Lynn Williams, president-elect of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and received the convention’s Student Membership Challenge Award and the Student Convention Attendance Award.
