We asked him some questions about his work:
How does this publication help with your research goals and/or interests?
“This study experimented with a blended learning course, which was a design experiment in the context of online learning and provided an opportunity to extend our understanding of inter-related learner engagement.”
Summarize your topic:
“This exploratory project (a) introduced the hybrid writing course, (b) tracked changes in student engagement level (i.e., behavioral, affective, and cognitive) over the period of the course, and (c) measured the impact of engagement on writing performance. The findings show that wiki-based online discussion improved behavioral, affective, and cognitive engagement. The relationships among the learner engagement dimensions were reciprocal, temporal, and changeable.”
