Jorge Lopez is a first-year Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling M.S. student in the Counseling and Psychological Services Department at the College of Education & Human Development at Georgia State. His interests include working with undocumented families and those seeking asylum in the United States.
As a future clinical rehabilitation counselor, he intends to open a non-profit that offers counseling services to undocumented families. His research includes promoting well-being for those who come to the United States seeking asylum from their home countries.
“I am most excited in seeing how a lab runs, being able to interact with participants and fellow lab coworkers,” he said.
