The College of Education Technical Support and Systems (TSS) unit plays an integral role in identifying opportunities for the college to meet its goals through the strategic use of technology. Using both proven standards and innovative methods, TSS provides faculty and staff with access to hardware, software, and training which support teaching/learning, clinical, research, service, and administrative processes. TSS is committed to foster and encourage College of Education faculty, students and staff to use technology effectively for the betterment of education and human development.
In pursuit of this mission, Technical Support and Systems services:
- Will maintain a modern, reliable and secure computing environment
- Support the use of information technology to enable academic innovation in teaching and learning
- Anticipate and satisfy the needs of the College of Education community in a timely and cost effective manner
- Provide professional expertise that enables extensive and essential use of information technology
- Provide support for internal and external educational communities, including partnerships and grant related entities
- Provide a medium to enhance communication between CoE staff, faculty, students, and external communities
- Promote the use of a variety of appropriate technologies in achieving the educational goals of the College of Education
while promoting a high level of employee satisfaction and dedication to providing exemplary customer support and service.
