VPN and Wireless Logins Changing to CampusID - Thursday, May 08, 2008

Effective Tuesday, May 13, 2008, your VPN and CatChat Wireless logins will change to your CampusID and password. You will no longer use your Novell ID and password to login to these systems. As a reminder, your CampusID and password is the same login/password you currently use to access Easyview and Profile Manager. This change is part of the plan to standardize as many logins as possible to the CampusID.

(Note: At this time, you will still use your Novell ID and password to access network files.)

No action is needed to activate this enhancement, but if you need to manage your CampusID, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) has launched a new CampusID Self-service Web site where you can change your CampusID password.

The new CampusID Self-service site at https://campusid.gsu.edu will enable you to:

1. Change your CampusID password

2. Recover your password should you lose it 3. Create/update personal security questions/answers enabling password recovery

 The Exchange - Coming Summer 2008 Minimize
Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) will be opening the Exchange, a faculty technology resource center, this coming summer.

The Exchange will have the lastest technology, training and support for faculty and staff. The Exchange will have private and open work areas with PCs and MACs, conference rooms with Smartboards, a recording studio, and equipment available for checkout.  Faculty will be able to recieve training to make podcasts, multimedia presentations and videos.

The Exchange will be located across from the walk-up window in 106 Library South.  Faculty will be able to use the facility  8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.  For more information please contact the IS&T Help Center at 404.413.4357
