Star-Hopping

I started writing star-hopping articles in the summer of 1995 as a effort to assist beginning astronomers in the Atlanta Astronomy Club (and later the Flint River Astronomy Club as well) as they took their first tentative steps. However, I also knew that in writing the articles I was helping myself grow as well.

Monthly Star-Hops Monthly star-hops covering all of the Messier objects and originally written for the Atlanta Astronomy Club.
Seasonal Star-Hops These articles describe a series of star-hops encompassing those Messier objects prominent during that particular season, plus a few other brighter deep-sky objects as well.
