WEBSITE PROJECT

The purpose of this project is to create a user-friendly website that provides information on drug therapies for particular psychological disorders. The website should focus on disorders with an onset prior to age 18 (childhood and adolescents). The disorders for review are as follows:

1. Mental Retardation
2. Learning Disorders
3. Pervasive Developmental Disorders
   1. Autism
   2. Asperger's
   3. Pervasive Developmental
4. Attention/Disruptive
   1. ADHD
   2. Conduct
   3. Oppositional Defiant
5. Anxiety
   1. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
6. Schizophrenia
7. Mood Disorder
   1. Bi-polar Disorder
   2. Depression
8. Attachment Disorder

Your website should provide hyperlinks to other websites of relevance. The website should follow a general outline of 1) describe the disorder, 2) describe the rationale for how biology plays a role in the disorder, and 3) how chemical or biological treatments work as interventions for the disorder.
