
Dr. Meyers is the director of the Center. He also is director of Project DOVE (Drop Out and Violence Elimination) and director of the School Psychology Program at Georgia State University. Dr. Meyers is Past President of APA’s Division 16 and has served as the editor of the Journal of School Psychology. He is also a Research Faculty Member in the Center. Maggie Buchannan assists the Center in finding potential corporate and political sponsors and board members, researching applicble grants, and maintaining contact and informing current political and corporate board members of Canter activities. Maggie is currently enrolled in the M.Ed./Ed.S. program in School Psychology. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia.
As the Center's Office Coordinator, Ashley's administrative responsibilities include: managing the Center's office, creating meeting gendas, monthly updates about the Center's actvies and the Center's Annual Report, and organizing the budget for the Center and related research projects. Ashley also assists in writing grant proposals assisting on research projects funding through the Center, and maintaining frequent contact with one or more appointed research projects/groups in the Center. Ashley is currently enrolled in the M.Ed./Ed.S. program in School Psychology. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Templ University.
Tulip update and maintains the Center web site as well as all of the Center's technical devices. Tulip is currently enrolled her Ed.S. /Ph.D. in the School Psychology program at GSU. She holds an B.A. in Psychology Education from the Hunan Normal University in China and a M.Ed. in School Psychology from Georgia Southern University.
