Georgia Advocacy Office (GAO)
GAO works with and for oppressed and vulnerable individuals in Georgia who are labeled as disabled or mentally ill to secure their protection and advocacy. Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities
This site contains information about the Governor’s Council on Developmental
Disabilities and its programs. Also contains information on current public
policy issues and advocacy links to government sites, disability resource sites,

Babies Early Growth Intervention Network (BEGIN)
Center for the Visually Impaired
Website provides information about the services for newborn to early
school-age children with severe visual impairments and their families that BEGIN
provides. It also includes Atlanta resources for persons who are visually

associated with BEGIN.
