• P      The Saturday School Reception Desk will be located in the Second Floor Lobby of Classroom South Building.

• P      Students should report directly to classrooms and not to the Saturday School Reception desk.

• P      The Room List showing the classroom allocated for each class is available on our website.  Please check for updates in the event of changes.

• P       Parking Deck “G” will be available at a concession rate of $4.50. Please mention to the parking attendant that you are a Saturday School parent. Directions to Saturday School and Parking Deck “G” are available on our website.

• P      Students going to Classroom South Building can take the parking elevator to the 3^rd floor where there is a bridge connecting Classroom South Building’s 2^nd floor. 

• P      Students having classes in Natural Science Labs will be dropped off and picked up in Classroom South Building as per the room list.

• P      Students going to the College of Education (COE) can park in Deck G, exit at the 3^rd level on Central Ave, go right (north) towards Decatur St, left (west) at Decatur for one block, and COE is at Decatur/Pryor (entrance on Pryor).

• P      Notebooks and pen/pencils are usually needed, but other supplies and equipment will be furnished unless otherwise stated. For classes that require lab/material fees (as indicated by the class description in the brochure), payment should be made directly to the teacher on the first day. 

• P      Students may purchase a snack from the vending machines or bring one from home.  Please package appropriately because a refrigerator is not available.   No change or refunds for the machines can be given.

• P      Saturday School sweatshirts, tee shirts, bags, pen & pencils will be on sale at the Reception Desk.

• P      Please notify the teacher in writing if someone other than a parent will be picking up a student.

• P      Please notify the Saturday School Office in writing of any individual with whom a student should not be allowed to leave.

• P      Students are to be picked up at the classroom promptly at the scheduled end of class.  Otherwise, students can be collected at the Reception Desk and a fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged per student.  Parents are responsible for paying the late fee at the time of pick up.

• P      We are unable to accommodate students with disruptive behavior. Students who interfere with the education of others will be asked to withdraw and will no longer be able to participate.

• P      Parents and friends will not be allowed to stay with students in the classroom during class time without teacher approval.

• P      If a student misses a class, please contact the teacher for missed information and try to ‘catch-up’ prior to the next class.

• P      Parent Seminars are conducted during morning classes and are free to parents.  Presentations are made by various professionals on issues related to gifted children.  It also provides an opportunity for parents to network.  Please refer to our website for the schedule of lecturers and topics.

• P      A discount of 15% is available to GSU faculty, staff and students.  Your GSU ID needs to be presented.

P      Parents and friends are invited to attend Open House in individual classrooms on the last day of class.
