Undergraduate and graduate academic advisors in the Office of Academic Assistance and Graduate Admissions advise students generally and in required administrative procedures of the College of Education. The college encourages students with questions about their degree requirements or academic regulations of the college or university to contact their OAA academic advisor.
As a part of the university's continuous enrollment policy, all graduate students active in a degree program must maintain enrollment totaling 6 hours (or more) over all consecutive three semester periods (including summers). In other words, the total enrollment of the current term plus the two terms preceding it must add to 6 hours or more at all times. In order to graduate, students must be registered in the program of study during the semester they finish degree requirements.
The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) has contracted with National Evaluation Systems, Inc. (NES®), to assist in the development and administration of the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators® (GACE™).
