COE Dean's Research Doctoral Fellowship

The Georgia State University College of Education (COE) Dean’s Research Doctoral Fellowships recognize outstanding scholarly accomplishments and the academic potential of newly admitted research doctoral students. Recipients of these four-year fellowships embody the highest standards of scholarship in our graduate programs. As funding permits, the Office of the Dean will determine the number of Fellows and the amount to be awarded which includes tuition remission for 4 academic years.

ELIGIBILITY: The COE GSU Dean’s Research Doctoral Fellowships are limited to newly admitted research doctoral students.

APPLICATION: All application materials are submitted electronically in one PDF file.

DEADLINE: Application materials should be emailed to the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at coedeansfellowship@gsu.edu no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 15, 2013.

AWARD NOTIFICATION: Each applicant will be notified of the decision regarding his or her status for receiving an award no later than April 1. Applicants selected for an award in the first round must either accept or decline the offer by April 10th. If all Dean’s Research Doctoral Fellowships are not awarded in the first round, then one or more applicants may be offered awards by April 15th with a response due by April 25.
