Change of Name and Postponement of Graduation Date. Any student who is unable to complete his or her degree requirements must change the date of graduation by Monday, October 15, 2007. Students seeking to change graduation date may do so by contacting Graduation Services at http://www.gsu.edu/es/graduation.html

Last Day to Defend Ph.D. Dissertation. Beyond this date, if defens has not been completed and graduation had been scheduled for this semester, the date of graduation ill be changed to reflect a later semester.

Doctoral Candidate (Fall) Commencement Program Information Deadline. All doctoral candidates must provide the Office of the Registrar, Commencement Services, with complete information for the fall commencement program (there is no summer commencement) as soon as possible in order to ensure that the correct information is printed. Contact Mr. Christopher Robertson at the Commencement Office.  Last day to report project completion to OAA. Portfolio candidates must have their papers turned-in and evaluated before this date. Students should contact their departmental graduate directors for earlier departmental deadlines to allow for completion of review by this date. Any exceptions require approval of the department chair as well as the graduate coordinator.
