Dear Prospective Student,
I thank you for your interest in Georgia State University and our College of Education. We are a large, diverse, talented, and committed community of scholars and practitioners who ascribe to the highest standards of our disciplines. We have more than 3,000 students enrolled in 54 degree programs, offered within six academic departments. Our academic programs hold all of the expected accreditation credentials and our graduates are sought after for their competencies and leadership. Our faculty are recognized leaders in their fields who, because of their accomplishments, allow us to recruit exceedingly talented students.
We collaborate with urban schools in the Atlanta region, nationally, and internationally to provide training opportunities for students, deliver services, and conduct research and development. Through the efforts of our faculty our College of Education is recognized as a leader in preparing successful educators and human development professionals to work in urban schools.
Located in downtown Atlanta and well connected to the world, we provide an exciting learning environment provides an unusual array of interdisciplinary, international, and intercultural opportunities. We are an inclusive College of Education.
