21st Annual Benjamin E. Mays Lecture featuring guest Speaker Dr. Robert P. Moses, Founder and President of The Algebra Project, Inc. and hosted by the Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence and the College of Education.

Dr. Robert P. Moses is founder and president of the Algebra Project Inc., a national, nonprofit organization that uses mathematics as an organizing tool to ensure quality public school education for every child in America. Dr. Moses founded the Algebra Project in the 1980s, and since then, the program has developed curricular materials, trained teachers and teacher-trainers, and provided ongoing professional development support and community involvement activities to schools seeking to achieve a systematic change in mathematics education. Dr. Moses is currently serving as an Eminent Scholar at the Center for Urban Education & Innovation at Florida International University in Miami.
