The Georgia State University College of Education announces its Centennial Alumni Scholarship Program

Dear Alumni and friends:
I am very excited about the progress your COE alumni club continues to make.
In addition to increasing our alumni memberships and donations, we are very proud of our strong partnership with Project One-on-One, an academic mentoring program to help homeless children develop the academic skills necessary to thrive in school. We have donated over $5,000 to Project One-on-One through our annual Have a Heart Fundraiser as well as provided mentoring, school supplies, coats, scarves and hats through our winter coat drive. Our efforts are linked to our vision: “Every child deserves an education...the children of the College of Education.”
While we applaud our progress, we still have a lot of work to do to increase attendance at club meetings and events, and participation in programs and activities that are key to the success of our alumni club. Your involvement on alumni committees is equally important.
To help you stay connected to the College of Education, we publish a weekly e-newsletter that contains important information for networking and career advancement, and to keep you informed of opportunities to participate in alumni club events and activities.
Please contact me at etate2@gsu.edu or at 404/413-8101 to update your contact information, ask questions or share your success. You may also join us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter!
I hope to see you at an upcoming meeting or event or even a Panther game!
Go Panthers!
