Exercise Science
This program prepares students for careers in corporate fitness, adult fitness, personal training, cardiac rehabilitation, and related fields. The Early Childhood Education program prepares teachers to work with young children in pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms. The program reflects research and best practice in the field of early childhood education and teacher education. This program prepares students to teach integrated programs of health and physical education for grades Prekindergarten-12. Areas of emphasis include skill development and analysis, personal health assessment, pedagogical-disciplinary study, contemporary curriculum, instructional skills and models, and direct field experiences.
