The College of Education’s Child Development Program is hosting its annual Kindergarten Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Veteran's Memorial Hall, located in Dahlberg Hall (30 Courtland St., Atlanta).
Representatives from public, private, parochial and charter schools will be on hand to discuss the enrollment process, curriculum and other information about their program or school.
This annual event gives parents the information they need to decide which school will best fit their children’s needs, according to Ada Perry, resource coordinator of the Child Development Program.
“Our Kindergarten Fair makes the selection process less stressful by providing parents the opportunity to speak with professionals from several different educational institutions,” Perry explained. “It equips parents with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision about which curriculum, program and teaching style may be the best fit for their child.”
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Ada Perry at 404-413-8462 or aperry7@gsu.edu.
