The College of Education will hold its Spring Convocation for graduating students on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Georgia State University Sports Arena (125 Decatur Street, Atlanta).
While the University Commencements on May 5 and May 6 signify the official conferral of degrees, the College of Education Convocation, a pre-commencement ceremony, is an opportunity for the college to recognize its graduates and celebrate its students’ achievements. We encourage our graduates to participate in both events.
Convocation will have COE Dean Randy Kamphaus as its featured speaker.
Registration for this event is required and graduates wishing to participate should confirm their attendance by May 2, 2012, at coeconvocation@gsu.edu or 404/413-8114.

| Tickets: | Tickets for graduate’s friends and family are not required for admission to the Convocation Ceremony. Please note that seating is first come, first served. |
| Dress: | Dress for Convocation is business casual. Graduates do not need to wear their graduation regalia. |
| Check-in: | Check-in for graduates will be held from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. on the third floor of the GSU Sports Arena. All graduates wishing to participate in the Convocation Ceremony must arrive for check-in before 3:30 p.m. |
