Professional Counseling

Master of Science (M.S.)

The program for the major in professional counseling is a noncertification program that prepares persons to function as counselors in mental health centers, governmental agencies, labor departments, employee assistance programs, community agencies, religious settings, and correctional agencies. This major is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). For more information go to the Counseling and Psychological Services website.
