**Required 15 hours with MATH prefix: With the consent of their advisor, the students select coursework numbered 6000 or higher related to mathematics. The coursework should lead to the development of an understanding of the history, philosophy, conceptual underpinnings, and applications of mathematics.

Students must complete a portfolio as an exit requirement.

Program total: minimum of 36 semester hours
