Bio

Julie Rainer Dangel is a professor in Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University and currently coordinates the doctoral program in early childhood.  She has taught kindergarten and directed national child-care centers.  Her research interests include teacher development and constructivist theories.

She has published articles in a variety of journals including The Journal of Teacher Education, Teaching and Teacher Education and Policy and Practice in Education and co-edited the ATE Yearbook on Research in Teacher Education.  She is currently president of the Association for Constructivist Teaching.
