GOML Faculty Information


Getting your username and password

Contact Uzma Bhatti (ubhatti@gsu.edu) for your username and password. This information must be given over the phone or in person. Please include appropriate contact information in your request.


Accessing your class

  1. Go to https://goml.view.usg.edu/
  2. Click on Faculty Portal Homepage
  3. Login using your GOML username and password
  4. Click on your course name under the My Classes menu.


Attendance verification

  1. Go to https://goml.view.usg.edu/
  2. Click on Faculty Portal Homepage
  3. Login to your Vista section and go to the Grade Book.
  4. In the Grade Book, click on a student's last name for options.
  5. On the dropdown menu list select "View Performance Report." This will give you the first login date and last login date for the individual student.
  6. Collect this information for all students in your section.
  7. Return to the GOML Faculty Portal, https://register.georgiaonmyline.org
  8. Enter in your username and passwoord and click "Login."
  9. Go to My Classes.
  10. Under My Classes, click "Gradebook."
  11. Click the title of the section for you are entering attendance.
  12. For attendance verification, select the "Attendance" tab from the Gradebook screen and click the button for the Student Specific Time.
  13. View and Post Attendance screen will appear.
  14. The only data to be collected on this screen is whether the student has ever attended.
  15. Click on the Build Grid Button.
  16. The roster from the class you selected will now appear and you can enter student attendance. You will use this feature for "no show" reporting.
  17. If the student has never logged into your section, enter "A" for absent.
  18. If the student has logged in, enter "P" for present.
  19. When you have completed attendance for all students, click the update button.

Submitting grades

  1. Go to https://goml.view.usg.edu/
  2. Click on Faculty Portal Homepage
  3. Login using your GOML username and password.
  4. Click on your course name under the My Classes menu.
  5. Select the "Gradebook" option.
  6. Select the courses for which you want to enter grades by clicking the course title.
  7. Form the drop down menu under the "Grade" Column, select the grade for each indvidual student in your course.
  8. You must enter a grade for every student before you select the "Save the Final Grades" tab.
  9. Once these grades are entered and saved, you will not be able to change them.

Grade Adjustments to Submitted Grades

  1. To submit grade changes, you must complete the Grade Adjustment Procedures.
  2. Compose in an e-mail the following information: student name, student id, term, course subject, course number current grade, new grade, and reason for the grade change. State in this grade adjustment is for a GOML student.
  3. Send the grade adjustment to the Associate Dean of Academic Programs for the College of Education for approval.
  4. The Associate Dean will forward the e-mail to gradeadjustment@langate.gsu.edu
