GOML Admission Requirements
Application Deadlines:
Spring 2010 - December 1, 2009
Summer 2010 - February 1, 2010
Applicants must complete an online application via the Georgia OnMyLine (GOML) website, (under Featured Degrees).

- To be reviewed for Quick Admit (First Semester), applicants must submit the following:
- Georgia OnMyLine (GOML) online application
- $50 application fee
*Completion of the Quick Admission process does not guarantee admissions the GOML program.
- To be reviewed for full admission (Second Semester), Quick Admit students must complete all admissions requirements.
Master of Arts in Teaching in Reading, Language, and Literacy Education
Minimum requirements for entry into program:
- GRE score, verbal and quantitative combined, taken within the last 5 years
- Undergraduate degree in any area
- 2.5 Undergraduate GPA
- 2 letters of recommendation from persons able to judge academic and teaching potential
- 2 copies of official transcripts from all higher educational institutions you have attended
- A resume
- A statement of career goals
- Currently teaching full-time on a provisional ESOL certificate or employed as an ESOL paraprofessional
- A personal interview (to be arranged by the department)
Master of Education in Reading, Language, and Literacy Education
Minimum requirements for entry into program:
- GRE score, verbal and quantitative combined, taken within the last 5 years
- Clear and Renewable T4 Certificate in any field
- Undergraduate degree in any area
- 2.5 Undergraduate GPA
- 2 copies of official transcripts from all higher educational institutions you have attended
- 2 letters of recommendation from persons able to judge academic and teaching potential
- A resume
- A statement of career goals
Master of Education in Mathematics Education
Minimum requirements for entry into program:
- GRE score, verbal and quantitative combined, taken within the last 5 years
- Clear and Renewable T4 Certificate in Math
- 2.5 Undergraduate GPA
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics and/or Mathematics Education
- 2 copies of official transcripts from all higher educational institutions you have attended
- 2 letters of recommendation from persons able to judge academic and teaching potential
- A resume
- A statement of career goals
Master of Education in Science Education
Minimum requirements for entry into program:
- GRE score, verbal and quantitative combined, taken within the last 5 years
- Clear and Renewable T4 Certificate in Science
- undergraduate degree in Science and/or Science Education
- 2.5 Undergraduate GPA
- 2 copies of official transcripts from all higher educational institutions you have attended
- 2 letters of recommendation from persons able to judge academic and teaching potential
