Scott Decker was recently invited to speak to Gwinnett County school psychologists on “Neuropsychological assessment in the schools.”

Stephen Truscott co-authored “The current state(s) of prereferral intervention teams: A report from two national surveys” for the journal Remedial and Special Education. He also co-authored “The evolving context of special education classification in the United States” for the journal School Psychology International.

CPS doctoral student selected to be on the advisory team

Robert Rice, a CPS doctoral student and Dekalb County middle school counselor, was selected to be on the advisory team for the National Office for School Counselor Advocacy (NOSCA). NOSCA is a branch of the College Board that, along with other organizations, articulates the role of school counselors in the U.S. Congress.

CPS Faculty to conduct workshop in Md.

Scott L. Decker has been invited to Prince Georges County, Md., to conduct a district-wide workshop on using the Bender-Gestalt II in psychological assessment.
