Alumni Events

The College of Education is in the initial stages of forming an alumni club and is searching for those alumni looking to reconnect with the college. We know that continued contact with the university, the college, and old and new COE graduates is important to you.

 

2010 College of Education Distinguished Alumnus Award

In April 2010, the College of Education will award the 2010 College of Education Distinguished Alumnus award. This recognition is given annual to a COE alumnus who has made outstanding contributions in his/her profession and in the community. Recipients can be nominated by academic peers, fellow alumni, COE faculty, staff and students.

To nominate someone, please submit the following : (1) letter of nomination; (2) the nominee’s vita or resume; (3) at least two (but no more than four) letters of support; and (4) any additional supporting documents (this is optional but examples include copies of recent publications, publicity, etc.).

The official deadline to submit nominations will be in early March (the actual date will be announced in November). However, you can make your nominations now! The recipient of this award will be honored at our annual Honors Day ceremony in April. Please consider making a nomination for this special award.

Read for the Record
