Teacher Education Environment in English, Mathematics, Science, and
Social Studies (TEEMS)

The Teacher Education Environment in English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies program (TEEMS) is a popular alternative certification program. After successfully completing of the TEEMS program, qualified candidates will receive initial certification to teach grades 7-12 in a specific subject area. Applicants must hold at least a bachelor's degree or a content major in one of the four content areas, and must also meet graduate-level requirements for admission. Qualified candidates who attend the program as a full-time student can complete the TEEMS program in one year.
