Georgia State University has identified several university-wide initiatives in which the College of Education plays a leading role. The COE is also linked to several key international networks and many College of Education faculty are involved in international projects of their own. European Teacher Education Network (ETEN). The GSU COE is one of six US universities that comprise the 47 member ETEN network. This affiliation provides the COE extensive opportunities to increase internationalization efforts through the development of student and faculty exchanges.
The Principals' Center. Founded in 1984 and housed at Georgia State University, The Principals' Center is a collaborative effort between the University, local school districts and other agencies to provide cutting edge professional development for school leaders. Principal exchanges are being developed through the Center with schools in England and South Africa.
In addition to the College of Education initiatives, many faculty are also involved in international activities.
