One of the primary goals of the Community Teacher Mentoring Program is to assist

new teachers in the transition from their teacher preparation program to the classroom.

We believe that this period is when new teachers have the most support needs and it is

critical time for the ultimate success of the new teacher in the profession. The purpose

of this survey is to help us evaluate and improve our efforts to assist new teachers during

this critical time.Directions—Please answer the demographic questions. For the questions
